This ruler is a fantastic new product just added to our pattern making ruler library for 2026!
If you are working with HALF Scale Blocks to do pattern-making exercises, it is useful to have a Half Scale Ruler to use with them.
Note: This ruler is a half size of the TAFE Full Scale Dressmaking Ruler
For the purposes of learning pattern-making principles, making patterns at a 1/2 scale saves paper and requires less desk space than making them full-scale. Used for both Pattern-making and Grading with Half Scale Blocks
- Two straight edges and one curved edge
- Seam allowance markings 5mm and 10mm
- Ruler dimensions: 32.5cm x 19.5cm x 2mm
- Metric measurements 2mm increments
- Clear rigid acrylic – not flexible
